Estes resultados baseiam-se em oito anos de campanhas de monitoriza\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental e incluem estudos complementares que v\u00e3o al\u00e9m dos requisitos regulamentares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Com um compromisso firme com a compreens\u00e3o, monitoriza\u00e7\u00e3o e preserva\u00e7\u00e3o do ecossistema marinho, este relat\u00f3rio apresenta um conjunto abrangente de estudos ambientais realizados ao longo de todas as fases do projeto e que continuam at\u00e9 aos dias de hoje. Foi elaborado pela consultora independente Blue Grid, com a valiosa contribui\u00e7\u00e3o de duas das mais prestigiadas institui\u00e7\u00f5es de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o em Portugal: o MARE \u2013 Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre da Faculdade de Ci\u00eancias da Universidade de Lisboa (MARE-ULisboa) e o Polit\u00e9cnico de Leiria (MARE-IPLeiria).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O relat\u00f3rio conclui que a variabilidade natural, tanto sazonal como interanual, \u00e9 o principal fator que molda as comunidades marinhas em todos os n\u00edveis tr\u00f3ficos. Embora tenham sido observadas diferen\u00e7as espaciais entre a \u00e1rea do WindFloat Atlantic e os locais de controlo \u2014 particularmente em invertebrados nect\u00f3nicos-bent\u00f3nicos, incluindo o polvo, e em comunidades de peixes como os elasmobr\u00e2nquios \u2014, a abund\u00e2ncia global foi superior na \u00e1rea do projeto. Importa salientar que os resultados indicam que o WindFloat Atlantic n\u00e3o perturbou o funcionamento do ecossistema. Pelo contr\u00e1rio, a zona de exclus\u00e3o da pesca e o efeito recife geraram claros benef\u00edcios ecol\u00f3gicos locais, funcionando como ref\u00fagio e \u00e1rea de alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o que refor\u00e7a a prote\u00e7\u00e3o do habitat da fauna subaqu\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Em linha com estes resultados, n\u00e3o foram detetados impactos negativos nos n\u00edveis tr\u00f3ficos inferiores, como o fitopl\u00e2ncton e o zoopl\u00e2ncton, tendo sido observados efeitos ecol\u00f3gicos positivos nos n\u00edveis superiores, incluindo invertebrados e peixes. No geral, os resultados evidenciam um ecossistema din\u00e2mico, impulsionado por um forte efeito de reserva decorrente da exclus\u00e3o da navega\u00e7\u00e3o e do efeito recife. Demonstram que os parques e\u00f3licos flutuantes podem atuar como importantes ref\u00fagios ecol\u00f3gicos, apoiar a biodiversidade e proporcionar \u00e1reas de alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o para a vida marinha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Complementando estes resultados, a monitoriza\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental abrangente de mam\u00edferos marinhos, aves, morcegos e biodiversidade em geral registou 5 esp\u00e9cies de mam\u00edferos marinhos, 33 esp\u00e9cies de aves, 3 esp\u00e9cies de morcegos e 52 esp\u00e9cies de peixes na \u00e1rea do WindFloat Atlantic. O local \u00e9 utilizado principalmente como rota migrat\u00f3ria, tendo sido observado um aumento da atividade de golfinhos e botos durante a opera\u00e7\u00e3o. Embora tenham sido identificadas algumas esp\u00e9cies vulner\u00e1veis e criticamente amea\u00e7adas, n\u00e3o foram detetados impactos negativos significativos \u2014 como colis\u00f5es de aves ou presen\u00e7a de morcegos em repouso. A diversidade de peixes foi elevada, incluindo esp\u00e9cies de interesse comercial e de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o, com algumas a apresentarem maior abund\u00e2ncia dentro da \u00e1rea do projeto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Teresa Simas, investigadora s\u00e9nior com vasta experi\u00eancia na ind\u00fastria de energias renov\u00e1veis offshore e Chief Executive Officer da Blue Grid<\/strong>, afirmou:<br><em>\u201cO programa de monitoriza\u00e7\u00e3o de biodiversidade do WindFloat Atlantic oferece evid\u00eancia valiosa a partir de um parque e\u00f3lico offshore flutuante, demonstrando que o projeto gera resultados mensur\u00e1veis ao n\u00edvel dos servi\u00e7os dos ecossistemas \u2014 incluindo o aumento da abund\u00e2ncia de peixes e invertebrados atrav\u00e9s dos efeitos de recife e ref\u00fagio \u2014 e destacando a import\u00e2ncia de uma monitoriza\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental cont\u00ednua para apoiar a expans\u00e3o respons\u00e1vel da tecnologia e\u00f3lica flutuante.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lino Costa e Bernardo Quintella, investigadores s\u00e9nior da Faculdade de Ci\u00eancias da Universidade de Lisboa (MARE),<\/strong> afirmaram:<br><em>\u201cA monitoriza\u00e7\u00e3o do WindFloat Atlantic tem sido uma excelente oportunidade para aumentar o conhecimento sobre o ecossistema marinho do norte de Portugal e compreender melhor como conciliar o desenvolvimento de parques e\u00f3licos flutuantes com a conserva\u00e7\u00e3o da biodiversidade e a atividade piscat\u00f3ria.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Catarina Rei, Diretora de Permitting and Environment da Ocean Winds,<\/strong> acrescentou:<br><em>\u201cOs resultados do WindFloat Atlantic fornecem evid\u00eancia robusta, baseada em dados, de que a energia e\u00f3lica offshore flutuante pode coexistir com a biodiversidade e at\u00e9 gerar efeitos ecol\u00f3gicos positivos a n\u00edvel local.
