Last 24 & 25 of November, the WindFloat Atlantic team had the opportunity to attend Business2Sea in Matosinhos, organised by Forum Oceano.
The event was a great opportunity to connect with different members of the industry and the local supply chain, while also showcasing the sector’s readiness to advance offshore wind in Portugal.
We also had strong visibility thanks to the participation of José Pinheiro, Country Manager of Iberia for Ocean Winds, WindFloat Atlantic’s majority shareholder, who joined the panel Matosinhos: an Atlantic Blue Industry Capital for the World, where he highlighted the many benefits that a project like WindFloat Atlantic can bring in terms of positive impact through collaboration with industry, academia and local communities.
In addition, Ricardo Portela took part in event Exclusive Spotlight: Windfloat Atlantic as a Marine Ecosystem Regenerator, where he shared insights on biodiversity and floating offshore wind, highlighting the five years of operation of the project and the different studies that have been carried out during this time.
