On 18 July 2025, we welcomed the FELPT – Future Energy Leaders Portugal – to our WFA O&M base, and whenever there’s an opportunity to head out to sea, truly unique and memorable moments are created!
This was a unique opportunity for 30 participants – including members of Future Energy Leaders Portugal, FELPT alumni, guests, and friends – to come together and witness firsthand the future of energy, which is already unfolding off the Portuguese coast with WindFloat Atlantic in Viana do Castelo.
The Future Energy Leaders Portugal (FELPT) programme, promoted by the Portuguese Energy Association (APE), is based on the eponymous initiative of the World Energy Council (WEC) and was created with the purpose of inspiring Portugal’s future leaders in the energy sector. With a mission to shape a unique vision of the future of energy, driven by a new generation of diverse and inclusive leaders, FELPT provides an excellent platform to strengthen professional networks and foster interaction with senior energy sector leaders, both in Portugal and internationally.
The enthusiasm, curiosity, and energy of this group were contagious – more than enough reason to dedicate this special highlight to them!
